| | Recent Radio Debate About a month or so ago, I was invited to debate on a secular radio show. A friend of mine knows the hosts of the show. The person that they originally had for the debate backed out last second for some reason. They called me the night before the debate was actually to take place. So, I guess there was a little bit of pressure on me. But, because I deal with these things so much in the open air and on college campuses, God had already prepared me for the most part. The guy that I was to debate actually does this kind of thing quite often. His name is Jordan Palmer and he is a Homosexual Activist. He is the Vice President of Marriage Equality U.S.A. Two Reformed Brothers Radio
One night, after a LONG DAY of preaching, Jesse, John and I returned to my mother's house in Maryland. We were on a mission trip and had been preaching on the boardwalk of Ocean City, MD that whole day. We were worn out. We got home and were checking our emails, message boards, etc. I found out that the Two Reformed Brothers Radio Show was talking about Original Sin, Total Depravity, etc. Well, I know Paul and Jeff pretty well and John knew Paul pretty well. Unfortunately, Jeff wasn't on the show that day. We really couldn't stand what they were saying, since we disagree so strongly with what they believe concerning these issues. One of us just had to call. Somehow, John and I convinced Jesse to do so. Originally, we were just going to call in for fun, kind of like a joke. Then, we actually got a pretty good discussion going. Jesse talked to them first and then I talked to them for a while. Take a listen for yourself by clicking on the image below. I shortened the show to just the part where we are talking to them. We called in about an hour into the show (it is a two hour show).

John, Jesse and myself have decided to start a new radio show! We are calling it Refining Fire Radio. We have a basic website/blog up for it already and we will be hosting the show on Blog Talk Radio. You can listen to it online or you can download the podcast of it afterwards. We will be discussing many things that effect the Christian life: from Theology to Evangelism to News to Politics. We will discuss sermons, articles, message boards, preachers, doctrine, videos and more. Join us just to listen or call in and interact!
